How does it work?
A thin layer of carbon cream is applied to the skin, acting as a photo – enhancer. Once the carbon has penetrated the pores, the light from the laser is applied and absorbed by the black carbon particles. These particles then shatter and blast from the skin, taking with it both dirt and dead skin cells from the outer most layer of the skin (the epidermis).

How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of 6 – 8 treatments, best performed at 2 week intervals but this treatment can also be performed as a one off to brighten the skin.
Is the treatment painful?
Unlike other lasers, the carbon laser peel is not painful. You will feel warmth as the laser is swept over the surface of your skin and feel the carbon being removed and all of the debris from your skin.
What should I do before and after the treatment?
Ensure that you are protecting your skin from sun exposure using a quality SPF. We request that you refrain from using any self tan before or during the course of treatment.
What happens during the treatment?
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to ensure we remove all dirt and debris. A medical grade carbon is applied to the skin and using a Nd: YAG laser. The laser will be moved over your entire face until all of the carbon is removed.
What can I expect post treatment?
Your skin may be a little pink, flushed similarly to that of a light workout. This generally settle after a few hours. Your skin will be clearer and pores smaller.
