How does it work?
Anti-wrinkle injections employ a purified protein to relax specific muscles so they’re unable to contract, preventing them from creasing the skin. When injected into targeted areas in small doses, this purified protein has a signal-blocking effect which stops the nerves from communicating with the muscle, pausing that repetitive movement, relaxing that muscle, and in turn, softening those visible lines on the face.
Not only can they significantly improve the signs of premature ageing but anti-wrinkle injections also play an important preventative role. If a muscle can’t contract then it can’t make an expression, like a frown or an eye squint, stalling future lines from forming earlier than they might naturally.

How many treatments will I need?
Anti-wrinkle treatments generally last 3 – 6 months, with the product being metabolised by your body. Repeat treatment is dependant on the individual with most people returning in 4 months.
What happens during the treatment?
After a consultation with our Doctor or Nurse, including a full medical history, you will receive advice on the best outcome for your concerns. Ice packs may be used to numb the area and a several small injections are made into the muscles that cause your wrinkles. Treatment takes less than 30 mins.
What should I do before the treatment?
There is no special requirements prior to treatment, although post treatment we recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours as well as the consumption of alcohol.
Is It painful?
You may feel a slight sting, but due to the use of a very fine needle the injections are very tolerable.
What can I expect post treatment?
You can return to work immediately after your injections. You will notice an initial change in 3 days with full effects noticeable in approximately 10 days.
