RF Needling has had outstanding success for all skin types with a very low risk of side effects. The depth of needle penetration can be adjusted based on the treatment target areas with outstanding results in skin lifting, pore size reduction, skin tightening and overall rejuvenation.
RF Needling will also treat hyper pigmentation, deep and shallow wrinkles – including upper lip lines and neck ageing, scars, including acne scars.

How does RF Needling work?
Radio Frequency (RF) Needling combines two modalities, micro-needling and radio frequency (RF) energy to tighten skin and improve fine lines, wrinkles, skin elasticity, thinning skin, and facial acne scarring.
Skin Needling and Radio Frequency are both well established treatments that are often performed individually to induce new collagen and improve the skin.
What is the recovery time?
This is dependent on the depth that we treat you, on leaving the clinic you will appear flushed similar to a gym workout and may feel a slight throb (similar to a sunburn). Superficial treatments will have no residual redness the next day where as with deeper treatments used to treat scarring and deeper lines, you may appear red for 2 days.
Is RF Needling painful?
Most patients report a discomfort level of 3/10. To alleviate this, we will offer you cool air from a machine called a zimmer.
What should I do before my treatment?
Prior to any treatment we ask you to refrain from direct sun exposure and that you are using the correct home care to prepare your skin for the treatment.
What is involved in the treatment?
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and photos will be taken. The depth of penetration is programmed into the device dependent on the areas we are treating and the concerns of your skin. The device tip is moved over your entire face, causing slight erythema (redness similar to a gym workout). A healing balm will be applied immediately post treatment and we will send you home with aftercare instructions.
How many treatments will I need?
For best results we recommend 2 – 5 treatments at 4 week intervals.
