As the male skin is coarser, has larger pores, is more inclined to sun damage, and has to contend with being shaved on a regular basis; men actually need regular facial pampering way more than women!

So what's involved?
Why not treat yourself to a relaxing 60-minute facial where we offer a deep cleanse of your skin, identify any skin issues, removal of any blackheads and apply a mask that rejuvenates the skin.
For those clients needing an extra boost to their skin, more advanced facial treatments are available. The facial treatment types vary; clearing broken capillaries, peels such as our excellent Carbon Peel, as well as the medical-grade HydraFacial to deep clean. These treatments involve leading technologies for a session of greater intensity.

Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is a natural exfoliant, so if you have sensitive skin or are prone to irritation, skip your shave the day you get a facial. Freshly shaved skin can get angry once exfoliants like acids or enzymes are put on top. But if you have a lot of stubble, consider shaving the night before. Too much stubble can trap product and keep it from penetrating.
How long is a skin treatment session?
Most Skin Clinic @Blyss treatments, including men’s facials, take up to 60 minutes, with the shortest time being 15 minutes.
Are there side effects to getting a facial?
Depending on what your skin looked like beforehand and what your specific skin issues are, your skin will probably look more hydrated and smooth. You may be a little red from the exfoliation or extractions, but that is usually temporary. The results after a week, though, will be unbelievable.
What aftercare would I need?
We have a number of premium skincare products available to choose from in clinic and online. Depending on your specific needs, we can guide you through the options.
