The Benefit Peel from Cosmedix is a gentle, all-purpose treatment that resurfaces, corrects and protects with fruit enzymes and Vitamins A and C – a powerful antioxidant to neutralise irritation, and Salicylic Acid. The Benefit Peel reduces congestion while improving the overall appearance and texture of even the most fragile of skins. This is the perfect treatment series for hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles and reactive skins, including rosacea.

How does it work?
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before applying the Benefit Peel. The peel will be worked in to your skin and will remain on for 5-20 minutes, depending on your skin, allowing the active ingredients to be absorbed into the skin. The peel is then removed and a balm is applied.

How many treatments will I need?
Best results are seen after 3 treatments at 4 week intervals.
What will happen during my treatment?
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before applying the Benefit Peel. The peel will be worked in to your skin and will remain on for 5-20 minutes, depending on your skin, allowing the active ingredients to be absorbed into the skin. The peel is then removed and a balm is applied.
What are the risks?
You may be a little red immediately after treatment. A few days after your peel you may experience dryness and light flaking while your skin regenerates. This peel is not suitable for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Is It painful?
Although you may feel a slight tingle in your skin, this treatment is not painful.
What can I expect after my treatment?
Best results can be experienced 5 days post treatment. You will notice calmer, more even and smoother skin.
What should I do before and after my treatment?
Pre Treatment: you will be prescribed a vitamin A and tyrosinase inhibitor to use 2 – 4 weeks prior to treatment by one of our clinicians to prepare your skin for peeling to avoid any adverse reactions. The use of SPF and sun compliance will be required
Post Treatment: we will guide you on the use of homecare after your treatment to promote the healing phase of your skin.
